Most homes here were built in the early-to-mid 2000s, with Tuscan and Mediterranean styling, tile roofs and views over the valley. Buyers often compare it with newer hillside communities and find more house for the money.

Roma Hills is a custom-home neighborhood, not a tract. Streets carry Italian names like Romano Lane, Anelli Court and Dibasio Court. The homes lean Tuscan and Mediterranean: stucco, stone, tile roofs, courtyards and big outdoor living areas. The four most recent sales were 5 to 6 bedrooms and about 4,969 to 6,256 square feet, built between 2002 and 2006.
Because these homes are 20-plus years old, condition varies a lot. Some have been fully remodeled; others still have original kitchens and baths. Budget for updates, and get a thorough inspection, especially of roofs, pools and HVAC.
